How To Join FIRS?

Have you seen an activity that is interesting? Then choose a suitable session/venue and phone the group leader (see timetable pages) who will confirm that there is room (some groups get overcrowded), and answer any questions. Then just come along. It is usual to arrive about 15 minutes before the advertised start time, to allow time for a chat and collection of the Session fee- most are £1.
If you’d like to try a different group, please do so. After 3 visits, we ask you to join the club, and we charge £2 for annual membership, our year running July to June.
Please note that our membership year starts in June and ends June the year after. You would be expected to renew your membership in June for an annual membership fee of £2. Don’t worry if you want to join after Christmas you would only be expected to pay £1 for the remaining time of our membership year.
