Welcome to the FIRS (Friends in Retirement Solihull) website. We are a wholly Solihull metropolitan borough organisation, providing recreational activities for the over 50's of the borough who are not in full time employment. Formed in 1975 with just two activities, today it has grown to over 50 weekly sessions of 12 activities in 15  or so venues.

With five branches (Central, Heart of England, Kingshurst, Chelmsley Wood, and Castle Bromwich), and over 1000 members, our activities are as listed above, and take place in a number of locations throughout the area each week. (Click on one at a time, the buttons above for the these locations.)

We always welcome new people to join us, and with an annual membership fee of just £2.00 and session fees of £1.50 it won't break the bank to become part of the organisation. Interested?
